Radik Gataulin

Title: Modified N-terminal fragments of galanin as potential cardioprotectors

Biography

Radik Gataulin, 27 years old, works in the Laboratory for Myocardial Metabolism of the National Medical Research Center for Cardiology (Moscow, Russian Federation) from 2016 to the present. He participates in the study of the mechanisms of action of modified peptide agonists of receptors coupled with G-proteins in experimental cardiac pathology, myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury and cardiomyopathies. From 2019 till now, he is a postgraduate student specialized in cardiology at Sechenov University (Moscow). The title of his thesis “The role of visceral adiposity in atrial fibrillation onset in patients with hypertension”. Radik Gataulin is a co-author of 8 articles published in Web of Science and Scopus journals. He has participated in a number of international conferences: European Society of Cardiology (2017, 2019, 2020), EuroPrevent (2018, 2019, 2020), European Society of Hypertension (2017, 2018, 2019)
