Lei Zhang

Title: One-hundred years development of nursing education and workforce in China

Biography

Dr. Lei Zhang is a research professor at the Office of International Cooperation, Peking University Health Science Center. She received her MD degree from Nanjing Medical University and PhD degree from Peking University Health Science Center in China. Dr. Zhang was trained in biomedical research at the Population Council in New York between 1999 and 2000. She was a post-doctoral follow and then research associate at the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, Dalhousie University in Canada from 2002 to 2007. Dr. Zhang was an Associate Professor at Peking University Cancer Hospital. She authored and co-authored 30 publications in the field of biomedical research and medical education.
