Rebbecca
graduated with an Associate’s Degree in nursing from New Mexico State
University, and then worked in a Level 2 Emergency Department. She Obtained her
BSN from Lubbock Christian University and began working in a Level 1 Trauma
Center. Rebbecca graduated from the University of Phoenix in the summer of 2008
with both her MSN & MHA. She continued to work in emergency care along with
expanding her care to the pre and post-operative areas. She opened her own
nursing agency, Masters of Nursing, LLC in 2005 in the Denver area, where she
provided pre-op, intra-op, and post-operative nurses to 12 different free
standing surgical centers. Mrs. Harris became an instructor for Texas Tech
University Health Sciences Center School of Nursing in 2012 and teaches in a
multitude of courses. In the Summer of 2019 Mrs. Harris completed didactic
requirements for her PhD in Nursing Education at Nova Southeastern University
in Ft. Lauderdale, FL., and is currently working on her dissertation with a
focus on removing rater bias from high-fidelity simulation assessments.
