Fawzy Elbarbry

Title: The Anti-hypertensive Effect of Quercetin in Young Spontaneously Hypertensive Rats; Role of Arachidonic Acid Metabolism


Dr. Elbarbry is Professor at Pacific University School of Pharmacy, where he coordinates and teaches basic and clinical Pharmacokinetics courses, and lead research projects aim to develop safe and effective antihypertensive agents from nature.  Through his research, Dr. Elbarbry has mentored and trained more than 40 graduate students. This experience has led to more than 50 peer-review papers, 1 textbook, 3 book chapters, 32 posters, and 40 podium presentations at local, national, and international meetings. 

 Dr. Elbarbry currently serves as the director of the Office for Student Success (OSS) at Pacific University School of Pharmacy, editor and active reviewer for more than 12 journals and granting agencies, a member of the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP) Faculty Mentorship Committee, and a member of the OSHP Education Affair Council and board of directors. 

 Dr. Elbarbry also works as a clinical pharmacist at Legacy Health System in the State of Washington
