Dr. Quetzalli Veloz Corona is a young physician and a graduate of National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). During her university career, she was an outstanding student with high level performance in all the academic subjects and assignments she undertook, being one of the few students that earned recognition for her high academic performance given by the university.
In addition, she has in her record participation in different congresses, the most recent being the Interamerican Congress of Pediatric Infectology, where she made a brilliant and shining presentation of her work titled "Severe Plasmodium Malaria: a diagnosis that must be ruled out in immigrant patients". Currently, she works in the Department of Pharmacology, National Institute of Pediatrics (INP), Mexico City, where she is collaborating in some research works related with the pharmacological treatment of different types of tuberculosis in children.
