Priya
Hays, Ph.D. is an accomplished science writer, having written and published three
books. Her latest book Advancing Healthcare Through Personalized
Medicine is a monograph on the implementation of the latest advances
in precision medicine, with a second edition due out soon. She has authored
over fifteen publications in journals as varied as the Bulletin of
Science, Technology and Society, L’Esprit Createur, Interdisciplinary
Literary Studies, Genetics in Medicine, Journal of Clinical
Investigation and Studies and collaboration on adverse effects of
CAR T-cell therapy with two physicians from the University of California, San Diego
Health System in Future Oncology. She is an elected member of the
American Society of Clinical Oncology, American College of Medical Genetics and
Genomics, and the Society for Immunotherapy of Cancer. She has an A.B. with
Honors from Dartmouth College in Biochemistry and Comparative Literature, an
M.S. in Genetics from the University of California, Davis, and a Ph.D. in
Literature from the University of California, San Diego. She is currently a Senior
Technical Writer at Talis Biomedical Corporation in Menlo Park, California.
