Biography

Peter Costa is currently an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Gastroenterology at the Brenner Children’s Hospital/Wake Forest Baptist Health in North Carolina, USA. He currently specializes in evaluating and managing all children with gastrointestinal disorders, specifically liver disease. He received his fellowship training at the Children’s Hospital at Montefiore/Albert Einstein College of Medicine. It was there that he participated in research involving less invasive endoscopic techniques to manage intra-abdominal fluid collections. He was also involved in liver research using liver stiffness measurements to evaluate for liver disease in different pediatric patient populations.
