Biography

Mingming Zhang is a professor of the Chinese Evidence-Based Medicine Center and a WHO patient for patient safety Champion in China. She has her research interest in patient safety including systematic reviews on patient safety education for medical students, human factors in healthcare, patient safety culture, medication errors, etc. She has published quite a number of research papers in this field both in Chinese and English. She is the first one to write a patient safety chapter for medical books in China and has integrated patient safety into her current courses since 2005. She has been invited and funded many times by WHO patient safety program to attend patient safety conferences in the past years.
