Title: Development of biomimetic nanovesicles to communicate with the inflammatory microenvironment

Dr Roberto Molinaro is an assistant professor in Pharmaceutical Technology at University of Urbino Carlo Bo, Italy. In 2012, he joined the Center for Biomimetic Medicine at the Houston Methodist Research Institute (Houston, Texas) for his postdoctoral training. In 2017, he moved to the Harvard Medical School where he applied nanotechnology to cardiovascular diseases. His research focuses on the design and development of biomimetic drug delivery systems for targeting inflamed endothelium and selective delivery of therapeutics for the treatment of pathologies that have an inflammatory background. His research interests include drug delivery, personalized nanomedicine, cancer therapy and cardiovascular diseases.
