Yan Liu has her expertise in the development and validation of algorithms for mental disorders. Her open and contextual prediction models based on cohort studies creates new pathways for improving healthcare and disease prognosis. She has built this model after years of experience in research, evaluation, teaching and administration both in wellbeing and education institutions. She is the first one to build the recurrence risk models of panic disorder and suicide ideation, in which it was found that often empty inside and sudden mood changes were the strongest predictions for the recurrence of panic disorder and suicide ideation. This abstract was also the first meta-analysis to discuss the pooled effects of psychotherapy and exercise therapy for depressive symptoms among college students.
