Takashi Notake

Title: Ultra-precise processing and optical nonlinearity characterization of organic N-benzyl-2-methyl-4-nitroaniline crystal

Biography

Takashi Notake received Ph.D. degrees in nuclear fusion physics from Nagoya University, Nagoya, Japan, in 2004. From 2005 to 2007, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the National Institute for Fusion Science, Gifu, Japan. From 2007 to 2009, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Research Centre for Far-Infrared Region, Fukui University, Japan. Since 2009, he has been a Researcher in the Tera-Photonics team of RIKEN, Sendai, Japan. His current interests are developments of high-power terahertz radiation source by using organic nonlinear crystals, various terahertz photonic devices, and useful applications for biology and ultra-fast wireless telecommunication.
