Title: The latest energy-efficient protocols for WSNs

Biography

Asst. Prof. Dr. Cengiz was born in Edirne, Turkey, in 1986. He received the B.S. degree in electron-ics and communication engineering from Kocaeli University, Kocaeli, Turkey, in 2008 and the Ph.D. degree in electronics engineering from Kadir Has University, Istanbul, Turkey, in 2016 with honour degree. From 2009 to 2013, he was a Research Assistant at the Department of Telecommunications, Namik Kemal University. From 2013 to 2018, he has been a Lecturer Doctor with the Electrical-Electronics Engineering Department, Trakya University, Edirne, Turkey. He is now working as Assistant Professor in the department of telecommunications in Trakya University. He is the author of over 25 articles. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, energy-efficient routing protocols, wireless communications, statistical signal processing, 5G systems and power engineering. He is an Editor of the Turkish Journal of Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences. Dr. Cengiz’s awards and honours include the Tubitak Priority Areas Ph.D. Scholarship, best presentation award in ICAT-2016 conference and best paper award in ICAT-2018 conference.
