I obtained both Masters of
Engineering (MEng) and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering
(Production Engineering Option) from The Federal University of Technology,
Akure, Nigeria in 2012 and 2017 respectively. During my Masters program, I worked
on a thesis titled “Development of a Processor for Producing Biodiesel from
Used Oils” and was ranked first in the 2012 Masters class with a Cumulative
Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.83 while my PhD work was titled “Development
and Optimization of a Plant for Producing Biodiesel from Used and Unused Oils”
both completed within the stipulated time. At present, I am a Postdoctoral
Research Fellow at the Department of Industrial Engineering, Tshwane University
of Technology, Pretoria, South Africa. Before then, I was a Senior Lecturer in
the Department of Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering, Afe Babalola
University, Ado Ekiti, Nigeria where in taught courses relating to Fluid
Dynamics and Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Mechanical Vibration, Systems Engineering
and Control, Production Engineering, Engineering thermodynamics, Maintenance
Management, Electromechanical Machines, Turbomachinery etc. both at the
undergraduate and postgraduate levels. I am a registered member (Professional
Engineer Cadre) of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria
(COREN) and the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA). I have successfully
completed the supervision of 28 students at the Bachelor’s Degree level and 3
students at the Masters Degree level. As at October 2019, I have published
extensively both at the local and international peer reviewed journals and
conferences numbering 82 and 57 respectively with 3 Book Chapters.
