Laurie Nolan-Kelley

Title: Taking aim at an epidemic: The role of healthcare in firearms injury prevention


Laurie Nolan-Kelley is Director of Quality and Safety at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health, an academic health system in the US.  She is a Registered Nurse and Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL), certified in trauma and emergency nursing, and is a licensed paramedic.  Dr. Nolan-Kelley teaches leadership in graduate nursing and is co-chair of the practicum review board for The Dartmouth Institute’s Leadership in Preventative Medicine residency.  She holds a BA in Economics, an MSN and a DNP in Clinical Leadership.  Her research on the epidemiology of firearms injury has been published in professional journals and she presents widely on healthcare providers’ roles in gun safety.
