Alka Singh is an Indian researcher in the department of Gastroenterology and Human Nutrition, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India. She has completed her Ph.D. degree. She has graduated in biotechnology and post graduated in biochemistry. She has also worked on drug resistance during her post-graduate internship. The area of her research since the last 6 years is celiac disease. She is mainly interested in biomarkers of celiac disease diagnosis and monitoring. She has expertise in immunological techniques, PCR, ELISA, Immunohistochemical methods, and mainly in HPLC. She is hard working and has a good ability of teamwork. Currently, she is working on the discovery of biomarker through proteomics and also on the development of biorepository of celiac disease in India.
