Geetha has her proficiency in chemical and molecular ecology in understanding the impact of environmental change on the health of the wild system. Her recent study offers a quantitative analysis of the current impacts of air pollution on insects. She has more than ten years of expertise in research, development, training, and supervision in both fundamental and applied research. The recent study (Thimmegowda et al., 2020, PNAS) indicates the urgency for more studies on wild systems to accurately assess the effects of pollution on our natural world and better inform international air quality guidelines.
