Shilei Lu was a visiting professor from Tianjin University, Tianjin; He was with the China Energy Group from 2012-2013. During his visit Professor Lu worked on the Distributed and Renewable Energy Integration Project for CERC (U.S.–China Clean Energy Center). Prof Lu was sent by Tianjin University, our counterpart for this area in China.
Shilei Lu, an associate Professor of HVAC from School of Environment Science and Engineering, Tianjin University. He was awarded by CSC as a visiting scholar to join the China Energy Group of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in Oct. 2012. Dr. Lu got his PH.D in Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning at Tianjin University in 2007. Dr. Lu has many year experiences studying in the fields including building energy efficiency, phase change material application and human heat strain.
Dr.Lu was awarded New Century Excellent Talents by Ministry of Education of China, and Nature Science Award of Liaoning Province. Now, he is the member of China Green Building Council, the member of expert bases of National Energy Efficiency Center, the member of editor board of the journal of "The Open Construction & Building Technology Journal" and the member of Tianjin Building Energy Efficiency Trade Council. Also, he got many research projects sponsored by NSFC, MOST and Energy Foundation, etc. He has published many papers in the international journals including Energy and Buildings, Building and Environment, Energy Policy, etc.
