Dr. Maneesh S.
Bhandari is a scientist of Forest Genetics and Tree Improvement at the Forest
Research Institute (Dehradun, India). He is interested in the species
distribution mapping and modelling, population genetics, and tree improvement.
His research aim is to explain the diversity and distribution patterns of
forestry trees on the basis of modern analytical tools of genetics,
bio-informatics, and bio-statistics. He has more than 10 years of experience in
forestry research and published 50 research papers in various international and
national journals of repute.
