Attila D. Sandor is Zoologist, specialized in terrestrial vertebrate ecology, with special interest in conservation biology, biogeography and host-parasite relations of warm blooded vertebrates. He completed his PhD in Zoology, with thesis written about biodiversity conservation, protected area development, and species distribution modelling. He has long-time interest in host-parasite interactions, with research focusing primarily on ectoparasites, leading him to his current position of vertebrate ecologist in a multidisciplinary team studying vector-borne diseases all over Europe and Afrotropic.
