Welcome Message

On behalf of the International Cardiovascular Community, I wish to extend a warm welcome to all the health professionals attending the World Symposium on Cardiology in Rome, Italy September 15-17, 2022. This multidisciplinary conference has been designed to promote the scientific basis for the practice of cardiology and improve our knowledge for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. Not only will it promote the exchange of information on diverse topics in the field of cardiovascular medicine, but this symposium will also serve as a forum for enhancing the interaction among all participants for initiating research collaborations. From the events relating to our failures and successes for the therapy of heart disease in the past decade, it is becoming evident that the practice of cardiology in the future will be carried out at the molecular level and thus it is of great importance to acquire full understanding of the rapidly changing genetic and preventive approaches and novel technology for dealing with complex problems in the area of personalized medicine. Therefore this conference can be seen to provide excellent educational opportunities for extending our knowledge in the field of translational cardiology.
