Dr Omotola Babajide is a seasoned academic and an expert in renewable and sustainable energy studies specifically- biodiesel catalytic systems. She obtained her PhD in Environmental Chemistry at the University of the Western Cape, South Africa; and has been able to demonstrate outstanding expertise in the chemistry of waste coal fly ash, synthesized zeolites and the advantageous utilization they pose as heterogeneous catalysts in biodiesel synthesis. Her publications are predominant in high impact factor journals, possessing a high citation index across board. She currently teaches Environmental Engineering and Global Environmental Studies at the Cape Peninsula University of Technology, Cape Town. South Africa.
