Dr Hannula is a Senior Scientist and Principal Investigator at VTT. His work involves the identification and development of energy conversion technologies and solutions that support the transition to a clean, affordable and reliable 21st century energy system. His specific research interests include synthetic fuels, negative emission technologies and system integration of renewables. Dr. Hannula is an alumnus of the Energy Systems Analysis Group of Princeton University, and Energy Policy Research Group of the University of Cambridge where he currently holds the position of an Associate Researcher.
